BUSINESS PROCESS REENGINEERING
A cornerstone of our operations is Business Process Reengineering
(BPR).
SASI works in tandem with our clients to assess requirements, analyze
existing systems, review best practices in industry and government,
develop
new  process solutions, integrate information technology, prove the
concept
and integrate the final solution.
Previous and on-going projects:
* Reengineered services for the Naval Ordnance Center (NOC) Inventory
Management and Systems Division (IMSD)
* Lead Contractor on the 1-877-4CADPAD ReSupply Reengineering Team
* NSWCIHD CAD/PAD Stock Point Reengineering Initiative
* NSWCIHD Qualification Certification of Proficiency Demonstrations
(PDs) Initiative
* CAD/PAD JPO - FMS Process Improvement
SASI recently reengineered the supply support process for controlling,
requisitioning and distributing ejection seat explosives required by
U.S.
Fleet aviation maintenance facilities around the world. The result of
the
reengineering effort reduced re-supply cycle-time from 120 days to 7
days
within the continental United States, and from 9 to 12 months, to less
than
30 days cycle-time outside the continental United States.
SASI's has been awarded numerous times for its efforts in BPR. Some of
the
awards include the "David Packard Award for Excellence in Acquisition,"
the
"NAVSEA Commanders Award for Team Excellence," and the "ADM Harold
Stark
Award for Innovation."
